FIRMWIDE JOINT VENTURE ASSOCIATE OPPORTUNITY

Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience with complex and highly sophisticated real estate joint ventures and complex real estate limited liability company and partnership agreements.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- The ability to work in a team while also handling significant individual responsibilities.
- Preferably major law firm experience.
- A high level of academic achievement.
- A tax LL.M. and/or familiarity with partnership tax is helpful, but not required.

We currently have an opportunity for an Associate in the San Francisco office of an AM100 law firm. This firm is currently looking for a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years of experience in wage & hour class actions (including class opposition strategy, fact development, briefing, argument), employment law compliance advice and counseling, litigation (trade secrets and employee mobility), wrongful termination, whistleblowers, and employment discrimination and harassment. Experience in preparation and negotiation of employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment and personnel related contracts/policies would be ideal. In this position, candidates may also find themselves conducting due diligence and drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements and aspects of purchase and merger agreements in the context of corporate M&A transactions. Outstanding research and analytical skills and strong writing skills are imperative.
