About the Company :
An AmLaw 100 full-service law firm’s Los Angeles office is seeking an outstanding associate for their Labor and Employment practice with three to four years of experience. The firm's L&E practice group prides itself on employing attorneys who can take ownership of matters, with experience in all stages of litigation.
About the Role:
Managing single-plaintiff actions involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and other areas of California labor & employment law.
Responsibilities:
Strong litigation skills
Researching, writing, and arguing motions
Conducting complex fact investigations and analysis
Ability to take ownership of cases with minimal oversight
Qualifications:
Three to four years of experience in Labor and Employment law.
Current California State Bar Certification.
Juris Doctorate.
Preferred Skills:
Strong litigation skills, researching, writing, analysis, discovery, and arguing motions in state and federal courts.
Pay range and compensation package:
The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $250,000 to $295,000. The salary offered within this range is dependent on qualifications and other operational considerations. Benefits offered for this position include healthcare, retirement benefits, paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and vacation time), basic life insurance; flexible spending accounts; as well as discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
