The Orange County, Los Angeles offices of a prestigious Employment Law Boutique are seeking an Associate with 2-7 years of employment defense litigation experience. Their dynamic practice is full of challenging work with high-profile national clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with litigation and non-litigation matters for a wide range of clients, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies across many industries. Depending on your experience, you should expect to be involved in all aspects of their practice, including pre-complaint investigation, case analysis, strategy drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions and other court appearances, administrative matters before government agencies, union negotiations and relations, arbitration and trials, mediations, counseling, advice work, client development and recruitment, legal research and writing on a wide variety of areas. Litigation will generally consist of single-plaintiff EEO litigation and PAGA and class action wage and hour litigation. The Minimum billables are only 1800/yr. Salary will be competitive based on experience and their desired budget.
