LA/OC/Sac Healthcare Litigation Associate Opportunity

The Los Angeles, Orange County, and Sacramento offices of a Top 200 law firm have requested our assistance with a search for an associate with 6-10 years of Healthcare Litigation experience. This group focuses primarily on healthcare reimbursement, business-to-business, and government investigations. This position will see you representing hospitals and healthcare providers in litigation matters involving shareholder and other corporate disputes, reimbursement lawsuits against major health plans, and multiparty litigation. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience drafting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions; negotiating settlements and resolving disputes with opposing counsel; reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to health care litigation; participating in arbitrations, mediations, settlement negotiations and trials; and conducting legal research and staying up to date on health care laws and regulations.

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $230-$285k, with a low client billable hours requirement of 1850/yr and bonus potential of up to $112,500. This is an employer estimate and the salary offered within that range, and the potential for bonus and bonus amount, will depend on the candidate’s years of practice, experience, and performance. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
