We have an opportunity for a lateral associate that you might be interested in. The Santa Barbara office of a prestigious law firm have asked us to find them an employment law associate with 2-4 years of experience. This Associate would work with three employment partners based in their Newport Beach office. The ideal candidate would have employee handbook and policy experience, though not required. The candidate can be based in any of their offices. The firm does not have a policy for it, but most associates are in the office 2-3 days per week (more in the beginning to become integrated). Bonuses are commensurate with Big Law, the minimum billables for this firm are only 1950 hours, and it’s possible for 100 of those hours to be pro bono. The base annual pay range for this role is between $220,000-$285,000.
